Pioneer Log Homes of B.C., NE
Growing up in a small farmhouse in a family of seven, I can recall several different times in my life where my parents brought home drawings for a new house. Throughout my childhood, I always remembered being told we would be building a new house… “soon.”
In 1999, at a Log Home Show in Las Vegas, NV, my parents were introduced to an amazing man, Brian Reid, Sr., the owner and founder of Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia. It was at this very show that they discovered what type of house they would someday build, not just any log home, but a Pioneer Log Home. Throughout the next several years, they met with Brian and several of his incredible employees to come up with their plan. In fact, they were even invited into Brian's home in California to take a closer look at what they would one day build!
Finally, about 8 years after their first interaction with Brian, their dream was about to become a reality. They had given the “Go” to begin production of their handcrafted, one of a kind, Western Red Cedar, Pioneer Log Home. Production began in the Spring of 2008 and a mere 9 months later, it was broken down, piece by piece, strategically placed onto a fleet of semi-trucks and hauled nearly 3,000 miles across the country to Springville, NY
So brings us to today, nearing not only the completion of this miraculous home, but also one families dream. Pioneer has been fulfilling dreams throughout the entire world for over 38 years with many more to come. Although there are more people to thank than can be listed here, we would like to thank each and every one of you. Thank you so much for everything Pioneer; you are truly one of a kind!
